Imagine a 23-year-old New Yorker walking in Central Park in December 2012.
He wanders aimlessly, nowhere, from one bench to another, as if reluctantly moving his legs and leaving a chain of meaningless footprints in the snow.

Harry Davis is this poor fella’s name, right there, in the flesh! Just another broken soul back then, an economics student who just got fired from his recent part-time job and now is left with no future prospects whatsoever.
Let’s dwell on his mind. What this poor lad’s been thinking about?
“Omg, this old lady drives me nuts.. She’s in her right tho - gotta pay my rents somehow.. What do I do? It might take a while to figure this one out, mrs. Maybel, since I’ve lost the damn job! And yes - I took this burger, my bad, mr Crabs.. but what choice did I have as the fridge in my kitchen is emptier than my stomach?!. You really think firing me over that will somehow help filling it? And I’m still hungry..”
Overwhelmed with his thoughts, Harry himself does not notice how he has long since left the park and now continues his meaningless pilgrimage along the main street of New York..
It was then that Harry Davis first came across an advertisement for some kind of crypto-coin - right there, on the Times Square.
Of course, Harry already knew that B stands for Bitcoin, but that’s all he knew at that point. Cryptocurrency to him was something like a trendy Ponzi scheme of a new age - nothing less, nothing more.
But seeing the giant billboard, depicting the biggest cryptocurrency in the world right there, in the center of New York.. all that kinda shattered his world, since such marketing would definitely cost a fortune, which meant only one thing - the demand for crypto is no less gigantic.
For the rest of the trip, Harry pondered over two questions - one purely practical, while the other.. Let’s say, metaphysical.
With infinite wisdom of an art of flipping burgers at a local diner and a bunch of unpaid bills in his mailbox.. this broke student, with the enthusiasm of a hungry maggot, immediately began to greedily bite into the apple of knowledge named “YouTube”.
Futures, market cap, meme coins, blockchains, bridges, NFTs and “play-to-earn” games - to Harry it all seemed like a door to a parallel universe.
After all, until this moment he lived in a world in which people earned money exclusively by physical labor.
While in this brave new world he stepped in - some dude sells a jpeg picture and becomes a millionaire.
In any case, all this continued to fuel Harry's interest in the topic, and after a couple of months he’s got himself a brand new and verified Bybit account, a $1,000 futures deposit, and his first crypto portfolio with total worth of $5,000.
After couple years of buying/selling on spot trading, sleepless nights with open futures positions and an endless amount of viewing/reading about cryptocurrencies - his total capital exceeded $100,000.
